The 7th China International Import Expo 2024 concluded last weekend at the International Convention Center in Shanghai. The event featured participation from nearly 128 countries, including Vanuatu.
Despite its status as a small island nation, Vanuatu attracted significant attention during the six-day expo. This year’s event saw Vanuatu showcased a wider variety of products compared to previous years, including kava, noni, beer soap, oil, various types of alcohol, local lager, coffee, kava, island dresses, and more.
On the closing day, Vanuatu’s consulate in China, Mr. Charley Ah Pow, noted that the country presented a greater assortment of products this year, which drew interest from many visitors. He also indicated that more countries expressed interest in Vanuatu’s offerings.
The expo resulted in several products from Vanuatu being sold, highlighting a notable interest from the international community in the nation’s products.
