Five new Bills are among the 28 Bills the Government has proposed for Parliament to consider during its first Extraordinary Session of 2026.

The five new Bills are the Child Protection Bill 2026, Vanuatu National Music Authority Bill 2026, Adoption Bill 2026, Trust Bill 2026, and the Resident Entity (Economic Substance) Bill 2026.

The remaining 23 Bills on the Government Business list are amendments to existing laws, with 19 of those amendments relating to financial and economic matters.

Parliament’s Extraordinary Session is scheduled for 19 to 30 October 2026.
