A four-day sports tournament will start this week on Ambae Island, featuring futsal and volleyball from 7 to 10 January.

The tournament is organized by Mr. Renly Alven Tari to raise funds for the construction of a shelter for cooks and patients at North Ambae’s Lolowai Hospital.

The event brings together communities from North, North East, and North West Ambae, who will compete at the Quatunela Primary School sports ground during the week.

The tournament team behind the event is Elti Laefstael, meaning “Happy Life.”
