This week marks the second round of the Cascad Corporate Volleyball Wellness Shield, following a strong start last week with 17 teams competing.

The competition is made possible through a partnership between Sparkling Water and Vanuatu Beach Volleyball, and is being held at the beach volleyball courts near Stade.

This year marks the 7th edition of the Corporate Volleyball Wellness Shield, which brings together business houses across Port Vila to compete and socialize in a fun, active environment.

The tournament is a mixed volleyball competition, featuring both men and women players, and takes place every evening after work hours.
Event Coordinator Issach Mael explained that the main goal of the tournament is to encourage employees to step out of their comfort zones, engage in physical activity, and build stronger relationships among workplaces and businesses , while promoting health and wellness to fight non-communicable diseases (NCDs).

Round 2 of the tournament was postponed and is now set to resume this afternoon.
