Freshwota Bilingual School will host a music night this week to raise funds for rebuilding eight classrooms that were badly damaged during the recent earthquake.
Deputy Principal Webster Taboi told VBTC News the event is part of the school’s effort to contribute to its own recovery.
“At the earthquake, eight of our classrooms were badly damaged and bring risk to our children. So the purpose of this music night is to raise money to rebuild our classrooms,” said Mr. Taboi.
The school is calling on the community to support the fundraiser as they work to create a safer learning environment for their students.
