The Electoral Office has officially dispatched the first shipment of ballot boxes ahead of the 8 July Provincial Council Elections.

Principal Electoral Officer, Guilain Malessas, confirmed a total of 213 ballot boxes are now en route to constituencies across Shepherds, Malampa, Penama, and Santo.

“Sokomanu ship left this morning at 7:30am and is heading to Shepherds, Tongoa, Epi, and on to Penama. It will then cross over to Malekula, then to Santo, and finally South Santo until Big Bay,” Malessas said.
